Today 2001

On October 26, 2001 President George W. Bush signed the USA Patriot Act into law, which made it legal to search, seize, detain or eavesdrop all in the pursuit of terrorism. This included email, medical and financial records.

The F.B.I. has been known to make "blanket" demands for phone records under the Patriot Act. These blanket demands had to be issued to phone companies to compensate for the fact that the proper procedure was never followed initially. Read more HERE.

The Patriot Act has now been ruled unconstitutional by many judges. Read more HERE.

So, if we're doing all this why can't we find the actual terrorists responsible for 9/11?
