"I felt sorry for kids that they had no politicians to look up to," said on Larry King Live. He goes on to say that his inspiration for his political music is driven by the future--our kids. He said that he wants Obama's speeches to be in our history books.

He's made music that inspires me. It's cataloging our time the same way music did during the Vietnam Era. Let's not forget Nas, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Fall Out Boy, John Legend, All American Rejects and many more. Music moves the soul.
